(EN)
T.C.R BY TOUCHER is a streetwear label inspired by underground culture, industrial aesthetics, and the raw energy of the 1990s music scene.

Rather than treating clothing as something to be seasonally consumed, T.C.R designs garments as an "interface" that evolves with the rhythm of the city, memory, and the movement of the body. Wearing is not the final state, but a process in which meaning is continuously updated through time and experience.

The name T.C.R represents three core concepts.

TEMPTING – the instinctive pull toward individuality
CORUSCATE – the flash of creativity that cuts through the ordinary
REVELATION – the moment when clothing, identity, and culture resonate

The name "BY TOUCHER" reflects the idea that clothing should not remain merely a visual style, but function as an experience that engages the senses and consciousness.

Drawing from the spirit of counterculture and street movements since the 1990s, the brand extracts the raw energy embedded in culture and reconstructs it into garments defined by contemporary structural aesthetics and a quiet sense of tension.

T.C.R BY TOUCHER is a brand for individuals who refuse to be confined by existing frameworks and instead shape their own style and identity.

The brand operates primarily through its official online store, supported by selective physical presentations in cultural and retail spaces across Japan.

T.C.R BY TOUCHER(ティー.

DESIGNER

TAI IKEZAWA

Founder / Designer
T.C.R BY TOUCHER — Tokyo, Japan

A designer who has built a singular aesthetic and philosophy across fashion, music, and street culture. Born to a father who worked as a metal craftsman, Ikezawa developed an intimate understanding of materiality, structural honesty, and the weight of handmade objects from an early age. That formative experience remains the backbone of everything he creates.

He began crafting handmade garments and accessories while still in high school — presenting his work not in conventional spaces, but on the streets of Harajuku, inside clubs, and on trains. The approach drew early attention from multiple fashion publications. His studies at Bunka Fashion College sharpened a conviction that would define his career: fashion is the ultimate medium, capable of transforming how a person lives.

In 1998, he launched ESPACE;CHIC, a ladies-led unisex label built around a distinctive silhouette language that merged musical sensibility with ergonomics. Around the same time, he began producing club events, growing a scene that became one of the defining underground cultural forces in Tokyo.

At FASHION LAB in New York, a dress constructed from approximately 300 plastic components generated significant attention — earning coverage in SURFACE Magazine and a feature on local television. Back in Japan, he continued staging fashion shows in clubs, on streets, and in public spaces, and won the grand prize at an NHK live broadcast fashion design competition by a decisive margin.

The years that followed brought stage costume work for artists, jury roles at collections, show production, television appearances, and commercial direction — a body of work that moved freely across disciplines. In 2020, after a seventeen-year interval, he returned. T.C.R BY TOUCHER was launched as his first men's streetwear line — a reconstruction of every accumulated instinct within a contemporary street context. The sensibility honed through womenswear and unisex design, combined with the decadence, structural tension, and raw energy of underground club culture, converged into what the brand now defines as Decadent Luxury Streetwear from Tokyo.
