MATHAME IN T.C.R BY TOUCHER — FROM TOKYO TO THE WORLD
In December 2024, Mathame visited Tokyo for a DJ performance at Zouk Tokyo.
During their stay, they selected and purchased three pieces from the T.C.R BY TOUCHER DARK RIDER SERIES:
T.C.R DARK RIDER ZIP-UP HOODIE — BLACK
T.C.R DARK RIDER BAGGY SNAP JOGGER — BLACK
T.C.R DARK RIDER WASHED SPLICED L/S TEE — BLACK
The pieces were not gifted or supplied as wardrobe.
They were chosen and purchased independently by the artists themselves.
What followed was something that could not have been planned.
FROM TOKYO TO TULUM
Less than three weeks after their Tokyo appearance, Mathame performed at Zamna Tulum in Mexico on January 8, 2025.
The DARK RIDER SERIES had already begun moving with them — beyond Tokyo, beyond the context in which the pieces were first discovered.
Against the raw landscape, large-scale production and immersive environment of Tulum, the garments took on a different presence.
Deeply washed black surfaces, structural panel construction, functional details and heavy silhouettes became part of Mathame's own visual language rather than something styled specifically for a single appearance.
A piece selected in Tokyo had begun its own journey.
FROM TULUM TO SPHERE LAS VEGAS
Two days later, on January 10, 2025, Mathame appeared at Sphere Las Vegas as part of Afterlife presents Anyma “The End of Genesys.”
It marked another extraordinary setting for the T.C.R BY TOUCHER DARK RIDER SERIES.
Surrounded by the immense visual architecture of Sphere, the garments appeared on one of electronic music's most distinctive stages.
There was no planned campaign.
No wardrobe placement.
No gifting.
The pieces had simply remained part of Mathame's wardrobe as they moved from one city and one performance environment to another.
Tokyo. Tulum. Las Vegas.
Within only a few weeks, garments personally selected in Tokyo had travelled across continents and appeared within three completely different environments.
WORN BEYOND THE STAGE
In the months that followed, the DARK RIDER SERIES continued to appear naturally across Mathame's performances, backstage moments, rehearsals and travels.
The industrial structure and dark visual language of T.C.R BY TOUCHER connect naturally with Mathame's cinematic and immersive musical universe.
But what makes this story meaningful is not simply where the garments appeared.
They were never conceived as stage costumes for Mathame.
They became part of their personal wardrobe.
Worn through movement, preparation, travel and performance, the pieces continued to acquire a new identity through the people wearing them.
Selected in Tokyo.
Carried across borders.
Placed into new cities, spaces and sound.

FROM TOKYO TO TULUM
東京での公演から3週間も経たない、2025年1月8日。
Mathameはメキシコ・Tulumで開催されたZamnaに出演。
東京で選ばれたDARK RIDER SERIESは、すでに彼らとともに次の場所へと移動し始めていました。
深くウォッシュされたブラック、立体的なパネル構造、機能的なディテール、そして身体の動きとともに変化する重厚なシルエット。
Tulumの大規模なプロダクションと独特の空間の中で、それらは一度限りの衣装ではなく、Mathame自身のスタイルの一部として存在していました。
東京で選ばれた一着が、そこから新しい旅を始めていました。
FROM TULUM TO SPHERE LAS VEGAS
そのわずか2日後となる2025年1月10日。
MathameはラスベガスのSphereで開催された
Afterlife presents Anyma “The End of Genesys” に出演。
T.C.R BY TOUCHERのDARK RIDER SERIESは、世界でも極めて象徴的な映像空間を持つSphereのステージへと辿り着きました。
そこに、ブランドからのギフティングや衣装提供ではありません。
東京で彼ら自身が選んだ服が、そのまま彼らのワードローブとして異なる都市、異なるステージへと移動していった結果でした。

東京で選ばれてからわずか数週間。
一着の服が彼らとともに大陸を越え、まったく異なる3つの環境の中へと移動していきました。
WORN BEYOND THE STAGE
その後もDARK RIDER SERIESは、Mathameのパフォーマンスだけでなく、バックステージ、リハーサル、移動時など、さまざまな記録の中に自然と登場しています。
T.C.R BY TOUCHERが持つインダストリアルな構造とダークな質感は、Mathameのシネマティックで没入感のある音楽世界と自然に重なります。
しかし、このストーリーで重要なのは、どれだけ大きなステージで着用されたかだけではありません。
Mathameのために用意されたステージ衣装ではなく、彼ら自身が選び、購入し、自身のワードローブとして着続けていること。
移動し、準備し、ステージに立つ。
